Mark 10:16
With the Lord Jesus Christ as our guide and model, Children of Promise
follows His example in providing assistance to children.
"And He took the children in His arms . . . ."
Jesus opened His heart to the children.
Children of Promise passionately cares for children.
Its heart is open to their needs. It recognizes their worth.
It makes their welfare our priority.
"Put His hands on them . . . ."
Jesus made personal contact with the children.
He became involved with them. He recognized that children need affection
and affirmation in order to develop and mature properly.
Children of Promise deals personally with children.
It meets their physical needs. It loves them unconditionally and
affirms their importance to God and humanity.
"And blessed them . . . ."
Jesus was concerned with their future.
He knew it would demand much of them.
For this reason, He blessed them.
Children of Promise provides a future for the children under its care.
It makes education, nutrition, health, and spiritual training priorities.
In this way, it helps children to better their lives, enjoy health and vitality,
and establish an eternal relationship with God through salvation.
