This is Omega from Malawi.
She has lived with a very debilitating, birth defect since she was a little girl.
Recently, she was sponsored, and one of the first things the local COP committee did was take her to the doctor to see what could be done for her.
After tests and examinations, it was determined that surgery could be performed which would resolve the very difficult problem.
Surgery was performed on September 4, and she is doing great! And, best of all, she is going to be healthy and happy, as she should be.
Here are the words from the Malawi Children of Promise director, Emmanuel Masamba:
“Good news! Good news! Good news! Omega is finally restored! The doctor says Omega's problem has now become a history.”
Your donations to the Emergency Fund made Omega’s surgery possible.
