Started in 1992, Children of Promise has been serving children in need around the world for 20 years now. In the following interviews, some of the young adults who were sponsored as children discuss the impact that sponsorship has had on their lives, as well as sharing what they are doing presently in their lives. These interviews are free to be used for promotion of sponsorship through Children of Promise by individuals, churches, groups, and partners.
Children sponsored through Children of Promise receive nutrition, education, health care, and spiritual nurture through local ministries of the Church of God in 27 countries.

 Dr. Dan Andrango DAN ANDRANGO (ECUADOR)
Dr. Dan Andrango of Ecuador talks about his experience of growing up as a sponsored child through Children of Promise.  Karen Lambert, director of Children of Promise in Ecuador translates, and Dr. Paul Maxfield, executive director of Children of Promise worldwide, leads the discussion. 

RONALD KIZZA (Uganda)
Ronald Kizza of Uganda, orphaned at an early age due to AIDS,  talks about his experience of growing up as a sponsored child through Children of Promise.  Dr. Paul Maxfield, executive director of Children of Promise worldwide, leads the discussion. 


JEMIMA LEODONES (THE PHILIPPINES)
Jemima Leodones of The Philippines talks about her experience of growing up as a sponsored child through Children of Promise in urban Manila. From a shy little girl living in a one-room shanty to a nurse and seminar leader, Jemima shares the impact of her sponsor's support and love.   Dr. Paul Maxfield, executive director of Children of Promise worldwide, leads the discussion, joined by Dr. Ofelia Viray, executive director of Grace Family Helper Project in The Philippines.   


JOACHIM NAHUMU (TANZANIA) Joachim Nahumu, disabled physically at an early age due to polio, talks about his experience of growing up as a sponsored child through Children of Promise in Tanzania and what that has meant to his life.  Joachim shares the impact of his sponsor's support, leading to a profession in information technology.  Dr. Paul Maxfield, executive director of Children of Promise worldwide, leads the discussion.
