Sponsorship to the Max
Final preparations are being made for the arrival of the program directors from around the world. Support for the training and development conference, “Sponsorship to the Max” stands at $56,061.55. ($65,000 needed). Can you help us reach the goal of fully funding the conference in advance? Gifts may be sent to Children of Promise, P. O. Box 2316, Anderson, IN 46018. You may also give over this website by simply clicking on the 13th month logo button on the homepage. Thank you for your strong support.
So many children’s lives will be enriched and changed because of the insight, understanding, and skills obtained by the directors during this time. When asked what she is looking forward to at the conference, Carolina Stewart, of Honduras, shares that she is excited to take part in the sessions and to learn how to direct the program better. Carolina further shares that she doesn't see her job as merely distributing food, clothing and medicine. While that is the core of the program, she sees this as an opportunity to provide for the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional needs of the children and their families. Please keep Carolina and the other directors in your prayers. Conference dates are June 21-25, 2009.
