An initial follow-up report from Grace Family Helper Project in The Philippines following Typhoon Ketsana’s destruction this past weekend. The photo here depicts the loss of one of the sponsored children's homes.

There is an urgent need for relief in The Philippines following the flooding and devastation of typhoon Ketsana.  Sponsored children's home have been inundated and many, many homes damaged or lost completely.

This writer was disturbed that the daily cost of getting cows to stop burping noxious gas is basically the same cost as providing food, education, health care, and spiritual nurture for a child in need.  Read this encouraging story with photo about a sponsor from Japan whose heart is drawn to a girl in Tanzania who needs help - and the worthy investment that sponsorship is.
