It is with great excitement that we share with you news and photos of the rebuilding of children’s homes in Myanmar. 

After waiting weeks for information from Myanmar, God opened the door for a telephone conversation between Dr. Paul Maxfield, Executive Director, Children of Promise, and the national leader of the Church of God in Myanmar.  The progress report could not have been better.  Rejoice with the Burmese people as you read this compelling account.

On Sunday, May 18, Dr. Paul Maxfield, Children of Promise Executive Director, and Linda Mason, Children of Promise Associate Director, met for a second time with representatives of the Myanmar Church of God and Children of Promise program. The meeting was informative, encouraging, and disturbing at the same time.

Initial assessments indicate that all 200 sponsored children in Myanmar are alive; however, most of their homes have been destroyed. Help is urgently needed.
