Giving Promise

Bequests

One of the specific ways you can sustain Children of Promise for years to come is by making a bequest in your will. A bequest is simply a gift of property that is made through your will or revocable trust. Here are some benefits of a bequest:

  • It is a future gift that does not affect your cash flow or portfolio now
  • Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime
  • It can be modified should your circumstances change
  • There is no upper limit on estate tax deductions taken for charitable bequests
  • It costs you and your family nothing now, and tomorrow you get an estate tax deduction

A bequest to Children of Promise can be written NOW, and your final gift can be used THEN to further expand the rescuing of vulnerable children in desperate need—and changing their lives forever.
