Niños de Promesa

Members of the Church of God at Posadas, on the border of Paraguay, saw the deep poverty and suffering of children in Candelaria.  Most children were not attending school.  Families were struggling to provide for their children.  Family dysfuntion was rampant.  The Christians in Posadas wanted to help alleviate the children’s pain and despair.  The church began partnering with Children of Promise in 2012, under the direction of Monica Fischer.  They started an out-reach program for the children which has resulted in 19 children presently being sponsored.

Today, the children:

  • Enjoy Sunday School on Saturdays.
  • Play and have fun.
  • Receive nutritious food.
  • Attend school.
  • Receive medical care.
  • And have hope for a bright future.

The cost of sponsoring a child here is $32 per month.  Your support is giving a very special child hope and a future.  Thank you!
